In typical King style, it was filled with relatable characters who could be your neighbors and it's a gradual slide into something paranormal...My only beef with the story was *SPOILER*Don't read any further or I might spoil it a little....This book gets tied in with the Dark Tower saga. I wish it said up front it was part of the Dark Tower series, since I haven't read them, but it was still enjoyable in spite of it all. :)
